Melanie is a published author and the Director of Nestled in the Woods Publishing Inc.. With over 27 years of experience as an educator in elementary schools in Ontario, Canada, she has dedicated her career to working with children and their families.
After retiring from her role as an elementary administrator, including 11 years as a principal, she decided to channel her expertise into creating Nestled in the Woods Publishing Inc.
Melanie is the author of a number of children's books including her newly released book, Pedro the Potoo Couldn't Stay Still. Melanie has also written books in the Stinky Puppy Adventures series including: Stinky Puppy Adventures: Where's The Roast Beef?, All About the Stink, and Zilla-Squirrel - fun-filled children's books that have already captured the hearts of young readers.
Melanie is the devoted mom to Fergus who is the inspiration behind the lovable and rather smelly, Stinky Puppy. She lives with her elderly father and little adorable Westie, Fergus in Victoria Harbour, Ontario.
